THAT was an exciting Superbowl game. Why? you ask. Because it’s the first one since XVII that I have watched the entire game. I’m not a big football fan, to say the least, but THAT was a good game. I learned a little more about football. I only had a tiny scoop of ice cream. And I got to hold a one month old little boy during half time.
I stopped by a grocery store about two hours before the game to pick up croutons and corn bread mix. I’d say 89% of the folks in the North Phoenix store were in Cardinal red… all supporting the home team. I saw one couple decked out head to toe in Steelers attire. I mean, the whole deal… lanyards, hats, bandannas, jerseys, etc. I hurried to the crouton aisle in case anyone tried to jump the couple. I didn’t want to see it if a hockey game broke out right there in the frozen food aisle.
We’re proud of our team! Enough said!
Oh, I have exciting news tomorrow. (notice anything????)

We were so hoping the Cardinals would win – however, the Steelers DID NOT win by much. Do love football. We have had to learn the hockey rules, etc., since there are Canadian family members who play hockey. Gram
