Yes, today is the anniversary of when I came to the world 43 long years ago. Don’t you feel extra special on your birthday? I awoke to a quiet house at 9:15… and didn’t smell breakfast cooking so I rolled over and started reading the book I found yesterday at the library. I’m halfway through and not disappointed in the least. A real page turner. My children outdid themselves with my breakfast in bed on the blue “It’s Your Day to Celebrate” plate: Swedish pancakes, strawberries, roasted potatoes and scrambled eggs. It was delicious, but I could only eat half, so I get it again tomorrow. Whooopieeee.
My mom is making my birthday dinner tonight for the whole family…. and no one asked what kind of cake I wanted, but I did locate a picture of my new favorite cake. I haven’t tasted it, but I’m sure it’s my favorite.
We leave tomorrow for a hockey tournament in Anaheim, so I won’t be around blogging until Monday. We are planning to attend Jentezen Franklin’s church in Irvine for Easter Sunday…. and Israel Houghton will be there with Pastor Adam. Can you say ROCK ON?!?! Happy Easter, everyone. He is risen indeed!

Mom did Gulliver’s corn which is my absolute favorite! Salad with avocado… favorite #2. Baked potatoes. And dad grilled salmon. It was divine. Thanks for asking. BTW, I didn’t even have any of the birthday ice cream…. and it took me three tries to blow out the candles with Luke helping and there were only 24!!!!!
