First, let me thank all those who entered the Mother’s Day drawing for Laughing in the Midst of Mothering. There was steep competition (even without the aliases). The names were recorded on smudge-proof paper and carefully cut apart into strips exactly the same size. (kinda)
The official name strips were kept on the Greek Plays page of our history text.
Next, they were folded twice by a highly qualified origami specialist…..
… and dropped into the pre-approved blue snowman bucket.
THEN… the studly judge got off the couch to draw the golden ticket…..
…and the winner is ….. what? You can’t you read it?
VANESSA MC CALLIE! Whoooo Hooooo! Yeah, Vanessa! Please email me (rixgal@cox.net) with your address and I’ll pop the book in the mail. Congratulations, again, Vanessa.

Which one? The original “Stanley Cup” wedding ring with diamonds? Or the plain gold band for flying freight in and out of the reserves in Northern Alberta? Or the square Mexican silver one from Mazatlan?

I’ve been inundated with email requesting information about the studly judge. Sorry, ladies. He’s been mine for over 23 years. Signed, sealed, delivered. He’s mine.
